I was born in Milan in 1982.
Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock and Woody Allen are the directors who have always inspired me. I grew up reading Dostoevsky, Michel Houellebecq and Alberto Moravia.
In 2003 I joined Antonio Ricci's work group: I was the author of Striscia la Notizia until 2012, when I moved to New York to study filmmaking.
There I met the director Amos Poe, a legend of American indie cinema: with him I wrote the short film "Frankie", which I directed and starred in, a finalist at the Nastri d'Argento in 2016.
In 2017, with Daniele Balestrino, I created the web series "Estremi Rimedi". To date, on various social networks, it is followed by over 300 thousand people. In December 2019 it won as "best Italian web series" at the Digital Media Fest in Rome and in 2022 it was awarded by Rai Cinema.
I am also the author of two documentaries for Sky Arte, both presented by Federico Buffa: "Graffiti a New York" (2015) and "Ettore Majorana - L'uomo del Futuro" (2018).
I have written articles and reports for various Italian and international newspapers including Liberation, Linkiesta, Oggi, Rainews24, Cosmopolitan France, Charlie Hebdo, MowMag. In 2016 I won the Macchianera Award with the piece "La vignetta di Charlie Hebdo spiegata a mia madre".
In 2021 I published the autobiographical memoir "Il Veleno nella coda". It was proposed for the Strega Prize by the critic Giovanni Pacchiani, who defined it as "The conscience of Zeno" of our time.
In 2024 I returned to Striscia la Notizia, this time as a correspondent, where I play the role of the Avenger of the Young.
My passion is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the No Gi variant (without kimono). In 2023 I won the Italian UIJJ championships in the BluM1 Feather category. In 2024, I came third in the BluM1 Middle category at the Italian UIJJ and third in the BluM2 Middle category at the IBJJF European Championships in Rome.
