I was born and raised in Milan, Italy.
Woody Allen, Stanley Kubrick, and Alfred Hitchcock are the directors who have always inspired me, alongside the Italians Nanni Moretti, Dario Argento and Paolo Virzì. Growing up, I used to read Fedor Dostoevskij, Michel Houellebecq, Alberto Moravia among others.
I started my career in high school, thanks to Michele Santoro who made me a recurring guest on his prime time talk shows. Later on I moved to Mediaset where I joined the crew of Antonio Ricci. I was a featured writer for Striscia La Notizia and his multiple spin-offs for a decade.
In addition to graffiti, MMA, and Opera, movies have always been my passion. In 2012, to pursue a career in filmmaking I moved to New York where, in 2014, I graduated in directing. There I met director Amos Poe, the legend of independent American cinema: with him, I wrote my thesis short film Frankie that was nominated for the prestigious Nastro d'Argento in 2016.
Since 2017, I have been writing and directing every videos of Gli Estremi Rimedi, an Italian web-series I created with Daniele Balestrino. To date, on Facebook, we have more than 50 million views and in December 2019 we won as "Best Italian web series" at the Digital Media Fest in Rome.
I am also the author of two documentaries for Sky Arte, both presented by Federico Buffa: Graffiti in New York (2015) and Ettore Majorana - L'uomo del Futuro (2018).
For years I have been writing satirical articles and special reports for international media outlets. In 2016 I won the top Italian web award - the infamous Macchianera Internet Award- for best article of the year for my piece La vignetta di Charlie Hebdo spiegata a mia madre.
In 2021, I published my memoir Il Veleno nella coda (Laurana Editore). It was proposed for the Premio Strega 2022 by italian literary critic Giovanni Pacchiano, who wrote "Il Veleno nella coda is The Zero's Conscience of this generation"
